Good Books on SICU rotation

Hi,

I start my SICU sub-I next week. I wanted to get any suggestions everyone has for a few good books to read. What kind of stuff did you find helpful... or want your students to read while there.

Some may say this is overkill, for a one month sub-i anyway. You're not gonna read the whole thing in a month. But you'll go back to this book again and again and again as an intern (I have anyway).

This book is great.

This book is great.

thanks for the tip....i bought it for a paltry 32 bucks on amazon. I start in the ICU in mid august.

Our critical care books aren't so interesting.
