I am really fond of a certain type of book... I don't know what to call the genre, but these are the books that I have found so far that I would include in it:
--Dubin's EKG book
--Felson's Principles of Chest Radiography
--Cope's Early Diagnosis of the Acute Abdomen
Books that really give you a good feel for a certain, universally clinically relevant topic in a relatively concise, readable text (but not textbook, and not a review-format book). I have enjoyed the above three enough to read in my leisure time, as they really emphasize the things that make me enjoy medicine in general. Anyone have any others?
