Good GPA Low DAT

Hi everyone, first time poster here ! I have been debating whether to apply the upcoming cycle with my current scores or to retake my DAT this February. My cGPA and sGPA are both 3.5, DAT scores are AA 18 RC 18 PAT 16. My problem is as a Canadian student the only time I am able to retake the DAT before the upcoming cycle is this Feb, and with a full course load of upper year science courses and volunteering I am worried I wont be able to achieve a much higher score. Do I have any chance at an interview if I apply early ? Or should I retake the DAT? Sorry if this has been asked before but I searched the threads and all I could find was 'low GPA high Dat' threads. Any input would be appreciated greatly !! 🙂

You can always take the american DAT which is offered multiple times a year. Plus you can apply to a wider spectrum of schools with it as well!

Take the American DAT when you're ready.

They are, the number of seats is very limited which makes it very competitive. I'll only be applying to American schools however, which is why I want to know if I have a chance at receiving any interviews there with my current stats. I'll have to research further into writing the American DAT as a Canadian to see if its a possibility for me, thanks!

The number of seats available has no bearing on how competitive admission is, whereas the number of applicants/seat does, ignoring for the moment multiple applications.
