Good idea to ask doctor for shadowing?

Hi everyone.. I was just at the doctor's this week. He is young and really nice. Do you think it is a good idea to ask him if i can shadow him if it was my first time seeing him? Should I call him at his office and ask to talk to him. He works at an office with 2-3 other doctors. The head doctor is an old guy and i don't know if they are as open to shadowing as the younger doctors.

yes, definitely ask...can never hurt to ask...
plus thats how i got all of my shadowing opportunities

definitely ask; i always think it's best to do it in person, but it's fine to call too. Good luck, it's a great experience!
