Good idea to update AACOMAS Primary?

When I submitted my Primary , I didn't have as many hours completed in my some of my EC activities as I would have liked. For the sake of submitting early, I put down whatever hours I had by that time and submitted my application. Since submitting, I have completed a lot of additional hours that I would like to update schools with.
I already have been fortunate enough to get few interview invites. I know that schools look at your whole file-MCAT/GPA, EC-post interview to make a decision.

1. Do you think it would be a good idea for me to update the total hours completed section for my ECs and submit this updated primary to schools?

2, Do schools who have already sent me interview invites would even bother to download the updated primary?

if you change it though, won't you have to wait for them to re-verify it? and wouldn't the primary be unavailable to schools during that process?

verification only involves checking if what you put in the course work section matches up with the transcript. Since, I am making a change to ECs only, I don't think verification is needed. Think about it , how would they go about "verifying" anything in your EC section?

No, they don't reverify. Verification is only for the grades. After your initial verification, you are good to go.

ah ok I looked in the instruction manual and looks like you're right. this is different from AMCAS. since I plan to apply MD and DO I better study up on all the differences

Here's the difference.

AMCAS: Won't help you update schools at all. You have new stuff? Email/call the schools individually.

AACOMAS: Will update everything for you no hassle except grades.

I'd like to add that just because you updated AACOMAS doesn't mean that your schools will care to download the updated version of your app, so it would be very useful to call or email their office to let them know you have updated.
