Good internet resource to describe cardiac depolarization?

We started cardiac this week in medic class, and I dont think the professor did a very good job of describing the sodium/potassium interactions and how depolarization works in the heart. I think I've pretty much got it worked out from my readings, but I was wondering if anyone here knew of some specific websites that detail the process especially well. ...Or perhaps if someone wants, maybe they can describe it in their own words? Like I said I'm pretty sure I understand how it works now, I'd just like to verify.

Hmm...I can link you the notes to the cardiovascular physiology from one of my classes if you want. I know there are at least a few slides on cardiac myocyte electrophysiology, but I don't know how much detail you need (whether it is more or less than what my class offers).

leviathan, hook me up with that link if you dont mind! I'd love to see what it is you guys are studying.

SD, thank you! I dont go down to New Haven all that often these days, occasionally we'll bring someone through on their way to the VA in west haven-- when do you normally work? I'd love to have the oppertunity to come down and talk with you anyways.

Our shift schedules are pretty crazy... it's unpredictable what shift I'm working (7a-7p, 12p-12a, 2p-2a, 7p-7a).

If you're down this way, be sure to say hello.

Crap..I tried to link the site, but you need a student ID login to get onto the site. I did find a link from a physiology class I took a few years ago, and it does have a few slides on action potentials in cardiac myocytes as well as the pacemaker function of the sinoatrial node. Let me know if it helps.

Here it is.
