Good major for transferring student?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Current Pharmacy student. me are planning to transfer to Northeastern University into their Pre-health advising program. No clue what major to choose, however, since me didn't really get a chance to explore majors before having to declare one. Any idea on what would help me out for Med School?

MCAT and admissions requirements seem to be changing. In the past, it didn't matter what your major was as long as you took one year of gen chem, o chem, biology, and physics. A biology degree, and certain science degrees would provide a slight advantage in that you would study some of the same stuff as in medical school and some research jobs require a BS or biology degree.

Other considerations:

It's also important to remember that undergrad is essentially a once in a lifetime chance to obtain certain types of education. So if you have a passion for something of that nature, you need to remember your soul as well.

Some people have a number one goal of being financial stable or wealthy after graduation and plan their major accordingly by majoring in something like business or finance, and doing medical school/MCAT pre-reqs on the side.

This piracy thing ruined my joke
