I just wanted to say, "good morning". I've been awake since 3:30am studying for my first pharmacology exam; I need a few hours for everything to "mesh" before exams. Now, I know way more about the ANS than I would have ever liked to know.
Information that I now find interesting: Carbachol sucks, because it has muscarinic and nictonic action, ie it's not specific enough. They don't have drugs that are specific to each of the muscarinic receptors 1-5 yet, however I hope they'll be on the market soon. Finally, nicotine sounds so much cooler in pharmacology than it does in real life, because cigarettes suck.
I hope everyone has a nice day!
