Out of the programs that accept psychiatry residents into their fellowships, which are generally considered the good ones by you all?

This is a bizarre list. The fellowship you do will depend on what your interests are and your career goals. If you are not interested in dementia then UCSF would not be good but if you are (particularly FTD, 4 repeat tauopathies and prion) then it is second to none. Stanford is not a particularly well regarded program but if you are interested in FND specifically then it is better than others. Many of these are predominantly research fellowships whereas others are predominantly clinical. UIC doesn't even have a fellowship anymore to my knowledge etc

UIC still does, actually. It's a pretty solid clinical fellowship, whereas Northwestern is a pretty solid research fellowship with Marsel Mesulam. Not the warmest guy in the world, but he does good work.

I don't know much about the west coast programs, but the east coast and midwest programs on the list appear where I'd personally rank them. The only other place I'd suggest you add to the "okay" pile is Case Western with Alan Lerner.

Thanks for the responses. I didn't get a sense from the others that Stanford BN isn't a well-regarded program. Thanks for that. I'll investigate more. I'll check out Case.
