Good pathophysiology source?

Hi everyone,

What good pathophysiology sources would y'all recommend while preparing for Step 1? Most materials out there (HY, Kaplan, Goljan's Rapid Review, Robbins) seem geared more towards anatomical pathology rather than pathophysiology.

I have Stefan Silbernagl & Florian Lang's Color Atlas of Pathophysiology (2000) and pretty much have access to anything. What texts do US medical students routinely use?

Most of those sources you mentioned (Robbins, Goljan) are great pathophysiology resources.

How about the Lange book? I mean Stephen McPhee and William Ganong's Pathophysiology of Disease. Or would that be overkill? Lange books do seem a bit dense.

Pathophysiology Made Ridiculously Simple is pretty good. Also, a lot of people have also used Pathophysiology for the Boards and Wards.

I thought that Goljan RR had a good deal of pathophys and there was definitely enough there to understand many of the mechanisms. good luck!
