good pre-optometry program for undergrauate~

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
You can go to a school that has a joint program w/ OD schools "3+4" but I don't think it makes sense to search out those schools specifically, especially if the school isn't near you.

Go anywhere, get a good education, blast the OATs, and you'll be fine.

Any major in the biological sciences should prepare you for the OAT.

I thought biochemistry was really helpful because it requires physical chemistry, and that class really helped me solidify what I learned in organic chemistry and general chemistry. Physical chemistry is probably my favorite series, and I'm finding it way easier than gen chem and orgo.

Also the major contained molecular cellular biology which is also helpful.

Most of the science field, especially biology would prepare you.
