Anyone know of book renal books or websites that can explain all of complications of acid-base, alkalosis, acidosis, ion balancing etc in an easy to understand way? I'd really appreciate any help!

vander's renal physiology is absolutely spot on 😀😀

Acid- Base, Fluids, and Electrolytes Made Ridiculously Simple- Great book, finally understood that stuff.

Renal Pathophysiology, The Essentials- Great book to understand the pathophysiology

Textbook of Medical Physiology, Guyton- Good book, get the pocket edition, gets right to the point.

Acids/Bases/Fluids/Electrolytes made ridic simple, obviously.

I also really enjoyed Crash Course Renal Pathology... small incidental find at the med school bookstore when I felt lost for an exam- quick read and pretty high yield.
