Being someone who's using Kaplan as their main study source, I heard the Kaplan immunology was rather vague.

Would using the HY Immunology book be "enough" for the step 1?

What are some good sources for this (except big textbooks, obviously)?

Much thanks in advance.

A lot of people have recommended the Immuno section of this book.

Hi guys,

I have the Levison book but it is the 5th edition (and I see the latest one is 9th!). Do you think it will be ok? I sort of dont want to buy another book, but 4editions seems like a lot. 😕

The immunology in Kaplan Home Study series is anything but vague. Immuno is not a high yield subject, and Kaplan definitely went over and beyond what we did in our immuno course in MS1.

I'm using the 7-book series, though. Is it the same?

(If what you say is true, that's reassuring).

EDIT: nevermind, you already answered that question in my other thread. 🙂 btw, have you taken the step 1? (I'm asking so I can gauge your advice)

I would take lankysudanese's advice as pretty golden. A simple search of the 2007 experiences/scores thread or her(?) previous posts and you would know that not only did she take the boards, but she rocked it......265/99
