I am a student in phoenix and did a couple rotation at Good Sam here in phoenix in psych-and I just wanted to let this years applying class that it is a really amazing top notch program that has a fair bit of psychotherapy training and a good mix of psychopharm-the residents are great and go on to do any fellowship they really wanted the last 2 years-program director is amazing and you have no call after second year-anyway its a really reputable, great program around here-it is just that it is not nationally known-its a community program affiliated with teh U of Arizona so its not super well known-but anyone looking for a warm weather place to go and wants to learn quality clinical psychiatry and not so much academia and research than I think you would be happy here-I am not forsure going there-I am applying but just a heads up to those warm weather seekers!
