I had my first interview today and I was wondering if it is a good sign if the interviewer doesn't particularly ask anything except "Why dentistry?"

How long did your interview last? Did you ask them any questions?

The interview was at San Antonio.

It was 30 minutes... really the only questions were tell me about yourself, why dentistry, and share some of your shadowing experiences, and then we just talked about our interests and any questions I had regarding the school. My overall impression was that the students and faculty were both very friendly... nice family-like atmosphere. Everyone had great things to say! The facilities are nice, and most of renovations are planned to be complete next fall, with the addition of a sim lab. Very exciting for the students entering in 2007!

Sounds fine, no biggie if you actually had some conversation. One of the kids at my Crieghton interview was in and out in 10 minutes 😱

I was out in 15 min for one of my interviews! maybe i need to talk a bit slower next time

As long as you speak clearly and they can understand you, I guess fast is OK.

it's fine if u and ur interviewer were chatting. good interviews are ones that seem like convos. not question and answer. so gj!
