Good target OOS schools?

I have about a 3.6 science GPA, 3.8 overall GPA, and 24 academic average on the DAT with no outlier scores (except the 19 on PAT).

What are some good target OOS schools I should apply to? I keep seeing tyjacobs telling applicants in my range of scores to apply to some private OOS schools, but which ones specifically? Tuoro? Tufts? USC?

Those stats are excellent. I actually wouldn't apply to many private schools, go for the state schools which will have lower tuition.

Thanks. I've already went through that list and correlated each school with its 4-year tuition cost. Some schools on the list that stand out to me with low-tuition and relatively high OOS acceptance rates are:

1) UConn
2) Roseman
3) Creighton
4) Uni of New England
5) Harvard
6) LECOM

Is this a solid list of OOS schools to start with?

What's your state of residence?

Any particular reason for LECOM, Creighton, and UNE?

Tuition-wise, Maryland, Pitt, and Temple would be much more cost effective

Just did a quick google search, Creighton seems pretty pricy. UNE's pretty good for a private school.

I'd look into the prices for state schools like the ones I mentioned above + VCU and Louisville and compare that to private schools that you're looking at. More often than not, the OOS cost for state schools will be cheaper than the private schools.

I'd also get rid of Lecom, creighton, and une. I'd also get rid of roseman. Extremely costly and still kind of new. Your stats are good so you'll have access to some public oos schools that some others wouldn't. I'd add pitt, Maryland, unlv, and ucsf. If you want two extra that may be a little tougher oos, then I'd also add UNC and Michigan. Although Michigan may be a tad on the pricier side. If you're gonna do Harvard may as well add penn and Columbia too. Also given that you live in Florida I'd for sure apply to Florida.

Harvard is going to be a reach with your GPA and UConn will be tough if you're from outside the northeast.
