I'm a 2nd year med student and I've been using USMLE Step 1 secrets as I study for the boards. It's good, cause it's in question format and it's pretty easy to read--it's even been a good book to go over while I'm learning new topics (I'm still not quite finished with classes yet--just finishing up OBGYN and Heme block). Costanzo, BRS Physio is also really good for going over stuff before you start hardcore studying (after classes are finished, etc.) Hope this helps! Feel free to give me your thoughts (especially to those who have taken the boards and used these books!)

Check the stickies, buddy, there are tons of threads about book recommendations, and if you read the 2006/2007 experiences you can read which books worked for whom.
