anyone never took the PCAT, only applied to no-PCAT schools, and got in?

which schools did you apply to? how many interviewed you? how competitive were you stat-wise? which ones you got into?

thxthx..

never took the pcat.

applied to 4 non-pcat schools: ucsf, ucsd, llu, univ of colorado.

interviewed at 3, declined interview to llu.

accepted to 3.

i would say my stats were middle to highly competitive.

good luck!

if you don't mind me asking, what were your stats?
I have 3.59 GPA, ~3.52 in science, 2 volunteers in HS, 2 volunteers in college, almost 2 years as a tech, just certified.

why would PCAT be a determining factor if it is not required?
For the schools that don't require PCAT, GPA is highly emphasized.

your stats are competitive IMO, but you have an advantage because you knew you wanted to go into pharmacy since hs so you have everything prepared in advance. 👍
