So far I received an interview from SIU and NYU.

Going to NYU for an interview on Oct 10th.

Anyone else going and is from IL?

Just wondering when your interview with SIU is going to be. I have one there on Oct. 15th. I figured the one of us who has it first could give advice to the other. Let me know your date.

Does SIU give interviews? I applied there, but read that no interviews are given, but a friend of mine told me to make an appointment to tour the school.

They do not require interviews, but openwyd and myself are going for a tour/meeting with the adcom. I would reccomend you do that. Also there is a post: "Illinois Residents:" you guys should post there. UIC cashed my check yesterday, so hopefully i'll be hearing from them soon.

Saw your post. SIU said that they normally do not give interviews to all that they accept. Adcoms told me that they try to get as many as they can in, but that usually is not very many applicants. So I would not fret if you don't get an interview there.

As far as your DAT scores go from the other post, I think that they are not bad at all. Ochem is a little low, but the rest are fine. For SIU and UIC for sure. If you're 3 month waiting period from your first DAT is over, you may want to take it again to raise that ochem section. You never know, you may do better in some of the others too. Good luck.
