Got off the waitlist this late...how does Fed Loan work in this case?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I've been getting ready to go to school A for the longest time and I just got a call this week that I got off from the waitlist at school B. I'd much rather go to school B for various reasons but that is irrelevant I guess.

I have the following question...please help.

Back in April, I filed for FAFSA at both schools( at the time I was accepted at A and waitlisted at B)...I already signed the master promissory note and accepted the financial award at school A....can this fund be reverted back and be used for financing school B? How does this work? Once school A pulls me out from its class, will the funds get redirected to school B once I accept its financial award? I plan to let school A know of my intent to give up my seat this coming week.
This sounds really complicated. I would get ASAP to School B's financial aid office. They should be able to help you figure this out. This is a legal obligation, so I really don't think you should get advice from a pre-med forum. Congrats to you on getting 2 acceptances!! We should all get to have such troubles.

Not sure why you felt the need to bump this...you've already been given the exact advice you need.

Call School B and ask their financial aid office. They will know, as this happens every year to a few people at this late a date.
Then call School A and confirm what School B told you.
