hi guys , I got secondary application from Maryland University today , does it mean that I am going to get interview soon ?

Yep. Send it and you should get one in a couple of hours. At least that's what happened for me.

No, they send that to everyone. At this stage in the game, it may merely be an attempt to collect the app fee and pad their stats.

If you're not in-state or have insane stats, you may want to reconsider paying that fee.

Really? I thought that you were trolling for a second. I'm a little confused though. For me, I already paid the Maryland secondary fee back in like June when I applied. I received the secondary application in January and when I sent it in, I got an interview within hours. Weird. I thought getting a secondary meant automatic interview for Maryland. Sorry if I'm wrong.

actually I E-submitted my Application on June 6th and I did not hear from them for about 7 months , and today I got my secondary , so I assume this is a good sign ;😉

I'm assuming you received it via email? Dang, I'm wondering if it went to my spam folder and got deleted months ago. Or maybe it was lost in transit via postal mail. Oh well, I guess it wasn't meant to be lol...

I got a Maryland secondary Jan 23rd early morning. Finished up that night (did not do the optional video) and received a Maryland interview the next day (Jan 24th). I'm hoping the interview is for open seats and not a wait list spot!

I got the secondary, turned it in the same day and got an interview invite less than 2 hours later (happened this week). Good luck!
