I just got the e-mail today and called!! Game over.

Just wanted everyone to know how much help you have all been. I received deadline extensions from a few schools to which I was accepted and will now be withdrawing from; Georgetown, UC Davis, and from USC. I will also be withdrawing from U of Mich tier 1 waitlist. Hope this helps you guys out and good luck!! I'd be glad to answer any questions or give any help any of you might have. Thanks everyone!!!

Yeah...I thought it was funny that it's shakespeare...but he's the oldest looking dude in the selections. Darwin did have hair and in the pictures I've seen of him he looks a lot younger!! Maybe I'll change him to another "old" (not age...era) dude. LOL

i just got accepted to ucsd today too. i was actually really surprised because i haven't sent them a letter of interest or even any updates. i'll probably end up sticking with ucla, but i'm definitely going to re-consider and think it through. anyone have any advice/opinions?? 🙂

aescul--- i was accepted out of the a-pool and didn't do anything post-interview. however, this late in the game it can't hurt. if they're your #1, let them know it.

Congrats!! It's good for us still waiting that there's some activity going on.

I actually called UCSD yesterday about the status of my application and they said that they didn't have anything b/c the list of apooled is still being sorted. I wonder why they are inconsistent. 😕 😕 😕

Hey everyone - thanks for all the congrats! I interviewed last September and was placed in the acceptable pool shortly thereafter...so it's been a LONG wait 🙂 I had written a letter to Dr. Resnik shortly after being placed in the a-pool and wrote another letter in Jan. updating my application with Fall grades. I did the same in March after winter grades. I did state in the first letter that UCSD was my top choice, but I interviewed at UMich in March and they became my top choice so I left that out of subsequent letters. Well UCSD later, after much thought, became my top choice again just a few weeks ago so I withdrew from everywhere else upon my acceptance. Hope this helps and thanks again everyone!
