Hoping any OB superstar can help me -

1) if the woman has spontaneous abortion due to fetal monosomy or ectopic pregnancy or even for mole, do you count that pregnancy in G?
2) if the woman is 2 week pregnant, do you count that pregnancy in G?

My alternative q is if there's a time (preg week requirement) to be included in G? Or once hCG is positive, you include that in G regardless of whether it's a mole, ectopic or true pregnancy.

Thanks in an advance.

(1) Yes. —Gravida (G) describes the total number of confirmed pregnancies regardless of the no. of fetuses or gestational age when the pregnancy ended

(2) See above.

For reporting pregnancies, remember GP where P is subdivided into TPAL where:
T = Term
P = Preterm
A = abortion (spontaneous or induced) or molar pregancies
L = living children.

Also, remember that the parity number is unchanged by the number of fetuses in that pregnancy.

As for your last question, you add a G as soon as pregnancy is confirmed.
