Applying DO may be your only hope, even though a 22 will be tough to overcome - what was your breakdown?
And withdraw from the "hard out of state schools." FSU probably gives you the best shot in terms of MD, but still, their average MCAT is something like 27/28 I believe.
If you won't do DO, then the plan is simple: withdraw your app, and retake that MCAT. Don't take it until you are consistently scoring ~30 on your practice tests.
If you think the score was a fluke based on much higher scores with practice tests, then retake as soon as you can. If necessary, take a formal prep course and retake in August. You have no choice about retaking, the question is when to do it so you can slavage this application cycle. You have zero chance at MD schools with an MCAT of 22.
