I just recieved three acceptances to different schools. In the paper work that they sent they said that they can withdraw the acceptance if I dont keep up with my prior academic performance. I currently have a 4.0 GPA, Does this mean that if I dont keep my 4.0 they will take away my acceptances. I missed a lot of class for interviews so I dont know that I will be able to.

I'm pretty sure they just don't want you pulling Ds just to graduate. At least that's what I've gathered from what previous posters have said.

Yeah that's pretty much right. Some are a little more rigid - UVA wants you to let them know if you change your schedule, take a class pass/fail, and get a C or lower. But I havn't heard of any other schools being that strict, so you're probably in the clear!

Ohh is UVA one of the strict ones, then? I was wondering what was up with the no C's rule!

If you really want to be on the safe side, do not get C's and maintain a 3.5...I think you'd be really safe if you did that.

This reminds me of an interview question that I'm somewhat kicking myself for. My first interview of the day was with the Dean of Admissions who had talked to us earlier in the day and mentioned that it was good to take Biochem because it will help with the 1st year class that covers those topics. In my interview with her she was asking me what classes I was taking the next semester and mentioned I'm going to take Biochem. The tone had been light so I joked that "Yeah, I'm waiting for my last semester to take that one so hopefully the grade won't matter as much." We both laughed, and she said that it's also good because it'll be fresh in my mind, and that she'll pretend she didn't hear my other reason. She was laughing, but still, sometimes I wish I could keep my foot out of my mouth.
