Legally, no, but the UCs all practice it to some extent. You can't prove that someone was admitted for race and not "life experience."

I have a 39 and a 3.9 and I'm really worried that I might not get accepted to UCLA...I'm OOS however.

Exactly. Folks should be irate when they're assumed to have lower stats because of their gender. Or race.
