I guess the two posters above are trying to say is that your question is really vague and ambiguous. What do you mean by acceptable? It depends on whose standards your comparing yourself with. If you're trying to specialize in ortho or omfs then your GPA must be acceptable based on those standards. If you're trying to pass, then your GPA must be passing...so again your question needs to be rephrased. But more importantly than that, the actual GPA itself is not as important (at least from my understanding). What is important is your class rank. If everyone was graded on a huge curve in gross anatomy, then a 94 may mean a lot less than someone who got a 91 in a school with no curve. Thats why when trying to evaluate yourself relative to your classmates, the best way to do so is based on your rank....since that's relative to your classmates....Just a few thoughts...
