GPA calculations

Hello all...

I was wondering how GPA is calculated in the AACOMAS apps. I always see people listing off two different GPAs...a regular one and then something like BCPG, or BPCG...I dunno. A little enlightenment would be appreciated!

also...will community college courses be figured into my GPA on the apps? Thanks.

When I applied, I just submitted it to AACOMAS so they figured GPA out for me. Regard to CC, they do count them in your GPA.

BCPM = science GPA = Bio, Chem, Physics, Math

The above is not correct for DO schools.

There are 2 GPAs
Science GPA category would include all courses with subjects of Biology, Organic, Biochemistry, Other Science, Physics, and Inorganic Chemistry. Math is not calculated in your science GPA for DO schools.

Overall GPA includes all courses taken in college.
