hey guys,
i recently calculated my gpa using the AMCAS GPA calculated that was posted on SDN. I don't have any repeats and didn't include any math courses under the BCPM category. By doing this, should i assume that the science gpa and the cumulative GPA that the AMCAS GPA calculator gives me will be the same as my AACOMAS GPA?

The reason i didnt use the AACOMAS GPA calculator that was posted on SDN is because it uses semester units and not quarter units (which is what my university uses)

There should be an option to change the units to quarter units on the AACOMAS calculator... at least the one I used did. And no, there are other "Science" courses that AACOMAS counts towards sGPA that the AMCAS might not count. You need to look in the AACOMAS application instructions to find out if any of these classes applies to you. Engineering courses are not counted towards BCPM on AMCAS, but are counted as science for AACOMAS.
