GPA..diffrnce btwn comprehensive and best result.

hi guys..i got my ECE evaluation and thr are 2 gpa's.one is 'comprehensive' and the other is 'best result'.
they have explained that comprehensive includes all the grades recieved,,and best result includes all the grades but excludes repeated subjects.

can anyone tell me which gpa will be considered when i apply to a dental school..and why they have given 2 gpas like this as i have heard of everyone having only one gpa.

if u failed a subject during your dental studies the gpa drops...the comprehensive one will be considered since it takes into consideration all the subjects with number of attempts taken to cleat the subject
