Gpa question for dental application

Hi, Im new to the dental application and hopefully this wasnt asked somewhere else cuz i searched around ,

Does the dental application count retake grades alone or do they average first time and second time? If i recieved a D the first time and an A the second in a course does only the A count?

Both grades count. They make you report both grades when you fill out the AADSAS application.

So does that mean the gpa will be reflected by both grades or do they only use the retake for gpa calculation? thanks sorry if its a dum question.

Yes the GPA will reflect both grades. Example, D = 1.0 and A = 4.00 .. 1+4=5/2 = 2.5 = B/C
