I am currently taking class in undergraduate institution and had 2.99 GPA. But i did my associate in community college and i had 3.8 over there and then i took admission to this institute. My question is that did they count previous college gpa too or just the last one?

I'm pretty sure they look at both. However, they'll definitely put greater emphasis on the classes you took at a 4 year institution. I think most schools won't even take a look at your pre-requisite classes (bios, chems, physics, etc) unless it was taken at a 4 year college.

Your oGPA will be calculated from all classes at any college, be it a 4-year or 2-year. While I agree with the above poster that they may place more emphasis on 4-year classes, it's not true that most schools won't look at prereqs from a CC. Some schools (tufts comes to mind, I think?) don't accept CC credits, but most do. Search for doc toothaches thread on the matter. All in all, your downward trend is not desirable and I would do anything in your power to bring up that 2.99 university GPA.
