Just wanted to start a thread to see what the recent approximate time is for GPA verification...maybe like the last couple days or so...when did you submit your application with transcripts received and when was your GPA verified? I know they say 4-8 weeks, but it seems like it has been sooner.

I submitted june 3rd, but then i had entered my grades incorrectly (go figure) so I fixed them june 8th and resubmit. I just had my aadsas gpa's posted today 6/13..if that helps, i know we submitted on the same day.

^what?!?! i submitted june 5th and all my transcripts got there june 8th and my gpa isnt verified...........=(

i heard they fix your grade if you entered it wrong

I submitted my app on May 24th and my transcripts were received on June 1st. I'm STILL not verified and quite ticked off about it!😡

Now you've got me confused. My transcripts are numerical grades and I had to translate them. That's why it took so long to input them. Now you're saying AADSAS wants to see you input the numerical grade??

I had to put in my numerical grades AND the letter equivalent.

Ok sorry for the confusion. My transcript shows numberical grades. I was supposed enter those where it says Grade (with the blue link underneath). I thought i was supposed to enter the letter equivalent to it (3.5 = AB) so i entered letter grades for all my classes, which were the same as the AADSAS grade that youre supposed to put also. After I submitted, they sent me a message saying my school transcript shows all numberical grades and I have entered letter grades, so i have to change them to whatever my transcript shows. So for example if my grade for a class was a 3.5 i entered that where it says grade and then i put AB for the aadsas grade.

I did the same thing as Toothfairy, and fixed it yesterday when they unsubmitted my application. My GPA was posted moments after I re-submitted, but the "GPA calculations per session" has most of my terms out of chronological order. Is that a problem?

Also, where do they actually say they "verify" your transcript? Or do you just assume that when they post your GPA? Or for example under the coursework section, do they only post in the "verified" section if you've made a mistake? thanks

All of my transcripts were received on June 6th

& I am still not verified what the heck!uhh😡

I can top that .... I submitted my app on May 24th & all of my transcripts were received on June 1st and I'm still not verified!! I'm really ticked off because there are several people who have submitted their stuff after me, made mistakes on it, had it kicked back, resubmitted it and have been verified. It's not their fault, but hey AADSAS .... WTF!!!!

I agree with you....I always thought it takes 4-8 weeks to verify the GPAs & transcripts so i wasnt pissed. But after reading posts on this thread I am worried now! Its not fair!

On top of that, I started a post about "numerical grades" on transcripts to see if that was slowing my app down. There was little interest in that thread, so I'm thinking there's more people verified that have submitted their apps around the same time. If you call AADSAS they can't tell you anything because the verification is handled by some other department that they don't have access too!!

Yea & they might even tell me the same thing. Verification take about 4-8 weeks blah blah

Me,too. They got my last transcript on June 1st and I'm still waiting!👎 to AADSAS.

I submitted mine 5/31 but transcript was received on 5/30. It was verified on last Monday. Took like 10 days or so after the submission. My submitted GPA did not change but classification of the class changed. I took an automotive tech class at a community college back in 1999 when I was in high school. They put that as a graduate course work. WTF.

I am thinking if you have some discrepancy between what you have submitted to what is on your transcript then I think it will take longer.

here's my timeline for anyone who wants to compare:

May 31 - transcript received
June 6 - submitted
June 15 - GPA verified

I'm hoping I'll be in the June 18th mailout!
I'm not sure how many applications are mailed out at a time or how often though.
