im sure..there is info about gpa around here..
this year, most schools are accepting only ece evaluation..my ece is just 2.4 and part 1 score is 87..with toefl -107..i have 6 years of clinical experience in india..
do schools consider the other scores and experience to compensate for the gpa?
also, if any one can tell me, howmuch is the wes evaluation igher than the ece???for a 2.4 on ece, the wes will give approximately what grade???

hi,
you ve good score on boards and toefl.with that scores , colleges like nyu will consider you..
inorder to compensate for the gpa , you ve to do hell lot of things here in usa. this is what i understood by reading forums. Raising your score to 90 s may also help.

Hi: It seems that not everybody gets a higher score with WES. I ended with the same score that ECE gave me and a "lighter" wallet....... 😡

ohh..really??do they give grades out of 4 or 5???im wondering how people can get 4 and 3.9 gpa............our school sucks in giving marks..

indiandr sorry to hear about your score. seems like biochem really brought you down....and it happens to be one of my weak subjects too.....can you please tell us what material u used? how much were u scoring on released exams ? and did u do crack nbde?
If i were you, i would apply w/ the same score...atleast once, you never know.

Is it ur correct(89,89,62 & 78) answer munbres....? so that u got 318 correct,that means u must be get ur comp.score of 89 how come only 85? 😕....becausr 321 and above correct answer might get 90%...?

I am in same boat like you guys. My GPA is 2.82. It is not fare. because of my college was very bad in terms of grading. Today I got my NBDE Part 1 score:

Anatomic : 89
Dental Anatomy : 89
Biochemistry : 62
Microboilogy : 78

Comp. Score : 85
TOFEL : 99

I studied really hard for past 4 months. I am very disappointed. I don't know what to do now. retake the exam or apply in diff. college.
