Hi,

Honestly what at the chances of getting into a dental school in the U.S, with an overall gpa of 3.00 and also a gpa of 3.00 in all the science classes?


Can you guys post your input about the min gpa and DAT scores.

You still have hope! Get 20s across the board on your dat. Shadow a dentist. Apply to private schools, and your instate school, and you will be fine. But make sure your DAT scores are above 20, that is the key.

I shouldnt say you still have hope, if you get 20s on your DAT you have a legitimate shot at getting into a school .

Read this thread. In it you will see people who have had it MUCH worse. (I wonder how in the world some people with GPAs lower than 2.5 have pulled it off.)
