Hi guys
I enrolled in a grad school course just because I thought it might be helpful for my research (title: Molecular Biology: synthesis and reactions of Nucleic Acid). Does MSTP even notice that the class is grad school course? Do they even care? I was also thinking about taking the class as p/np but I just thought I'd try letter grade. Is it that harder to get a good grade in grad school courses? Am I taking too much risk? Thanks ahead for your opinions!

I think that with respect to difficulty it really depends on the course. I took two grad courses this term (i'm in 4th year undergrad) One of them was really easy - it was mostly first-term master's students, who don't on average know much more than a 4th-year, after all. The second one is super-hard - our final exam doubles as a PhD comphehensive. But I'm learning a lot, so I don't really mind that it's going to kill my GPA 😉
