I have a question, what dental schools bypass the AADSAS GPA and calculate their own GPA? I am familiar with a couple schools that calculate their own GPA and do not use AADSAS's GPA. I am wondering if anyone knows anymore than the two I am already familiar with.

How would they calculate their own GPA? Some schools put all of your numbers together in some sort of formula, but making another GPA seems a little weird when they have plenty of options from AADSAS.

well... aren't there some schools that don't utilize AADSAS system? I would guess those would be the only ones

If you are referring to schools that DO use the addsas system, I don't think they will/can calculate your GPA unless they have a copy of your transcripts. There are a few schools around that will require the applicant to send in their transcripts (like Detroit Mercy) but its not to calculate your GPA, its to see how heavy of a load your semesters were.
