Hey everyone. I did a search and the only information that I found was the grade replacement would suprass the previos grade if it is equal or more credits than the previous grade. My question is this:

I took a first semester chem class titled Chem151: Chemistry I with lab (4units).
I am wondering if this class will be the equivalent:
Scien134: Introduction to chemistry w/lab (4units).
The "Chem" and "Scien" prefix is what is making wonder if these are equivalent.

Thank you for your information and I apologize if this was answered elsewhere.

Wherever you are retaking the course, check the academic catalog to see if it is the equivalent of the original course or see if there is a transfer equivalent. That way if AACOMAS questions the retake course equivalent, you can forward them the synopsis of the course to prove it's the same.
