I took Organic Chemistry II lecture for 3 credits (semester) as an undergraduate; I am planning to retake, and the institution where I am completing my post-bacc credits only offers one satisfactory option, which is a combined lecture/laboratory course for 5 credits. I do not necessarily need to replace my undergraduate Organic Chemistry laboratory grade (which was a 4 credit course). What are your thoughts on whether I can use the 5-credit Organic Chemistry II lab/lecture grade for replacement purposes on AACOMAS?

I've done a brief forum search without any luck, and have an email question to AACOM pending.

If they are the same course in title and have the same course description (aside from the lab), the new course would be an entirely acceptable substitute.

Has to be similar course level, similar content/name, and greater or equal hours

Thanks for the thoughts - I knew the course titles & descriptions needed to be similar (which they are). My concern had primarily been that they may question whether the combined course attributed enough credits to the lecture portion to replace a defined 3-credits (since the course listing & transcripts won't attribute a certain number of the 5 credits to the lecture portion of the course). Appreciate the responses!
