grades after submitting

i tried doing a search on this but couldn't really find anything (and forgive me if this is a dumb question)...so i was wondering, after you submit your application, how much do your grades afterwards count? the academic update's not til wintertime right? i submitted my app in may and i'm taking summer classes right now. so basically, how much are my grades for these summer courses going to count if the d-schools don't see it til the update? by then they'll already have looked at my application (with LORs and DAT and everything) and made some sort of decision right?

They can rescind your acceptance if you do not perform up to their standards after acceptance. You dont have to do quite as well, but you must perform

If you think your summer classes will make a difference in how the schools look at you, why don't you notify them when you complete the summer classes?

I have the same question. I cant figure out how important my summer school grades are, and when the dental schools will even be recieving them.

Don't start slacking yet. Wait at least until you have gotten your acceptance. Why take the chance of weakening your application. And if you do well on the classes, you can always send a transcript to the schools so that they see.


For UoP, once you're in you have to get at least B's.

They pretty much wont help you, but they can hurt you.. By the time they see them, I highly doubt they are magically going to say wow, this person got another 2 A's, lets accept them now.. but like someone else said, if you slack off and pull in 2f's and a D.. they can take away an acceptance...

so basically, if i got two B's instead of two A's, it wouldn't make that much of a difference? I'm not gonna be getting a C or anything, but my classes are kind of stressing me out so i'm just wondering how it's all gonna factor in at the end.
