I am a junior right now and planning on applying to schools in June. Still have to take my DAT but I'm so nervous to apply because of two grades on my transcript... I currently have a 3.4 mainly because of a C+ in general chem 2 (literally 1 point away from a B Professor didn't budge) and a B- in physics 1. (Physics 1 made no sense to me) i don't know if I should retake both or 1 of the classes. I got an A in gen chem 1 so maybe that evens it out, but my dad says retaking classes are pointless unless you fail obviously. What should I do?? I have really good extracurricular and I'm a dental assistant and have another job. Hopefully score well on my DAT so it'll help.

Any one who had similar grades? Thanks.

If the rest of your grades are a's and b's I can honestly say don't worry about it. If it is that much of a deal to you then retake. I have one C in a science class, but still have a good GPA to back it up.

You're fine. Do better in your remaining science classes, and make sure you understand EVERYTHING in your Gen Chem classes. Score high on the DAT. Many dental schools agree that high DAT scores make up for a low GPA. Watch chad's videos to review Gen Chem.
