Are there any people who completed their undergrad early (3 years) and went to dental school the next year? Are you glad you made that decision? pros? cons? Thanks.

I did, and I think there are some advantages and some disadvantages to my decision. I am glad that I saved money by not spending one more year in college and I think it gave me an edge in terms of applying to school. On the other hand, I wish I could have spent one more year taking easy classes and spending time with my friends.

Sort of. I did it in 3.5 years. I got a taste of the "real world" for a while after graduation. Work 8-5 at a low paying entry level job, go to happy hour, sleep, repeat. It just made me want to go to dental school even more. 🙂

I missed my friends, but I drove up to see them on weekends. The only thing I regret is not being able to walk with all of them during graduation. Fall graduation ceremonies just aren't the same.

I graduated in 3 but ended up taking 2 years off. Strangely enough these 2 years have proven to be very beneficial in terms of making up for social losses by graduating in 6 semesters (i didn't do summers).
