Hey, i'm a graduate student and i'm wondering if I can apply this year. I just started a masters this year, am i still eligible to apply or do i have to have it complete or be in my last year before applying?

you could apply and you have to state that you r in grad sch this coming year.
there is a high chance that adcom will question your motive. why do u apply to dental sch while you still have 1 more yr to graduate from your masters program. i dont think they like to see people withdrawing in the middle of pursueing another degree. so, yes, you could still apply, but i dont think that's ur best choice.

What if you apply this year and you finish your masters in one year(in the summer), is it wise to apply for this cycle or next?

Opps, I assumed that masters program takes more than a year to complete.
I thought this person would not complete his/her masters if he/she gets into a dental school.
If it is only a year program, I dont see why not apply this cycle. Just be ready for the huge workload from sch and from applying to schools.
