Granting more time for deposits

Has anyone tried to get an extension for sending a deposit to a school? Did it work?

Yes. I was able to get an extra week out of KCOM and AZCOM with absolutely no problems. I am sure I could have gotten more had I asked, but I was just procrastinating a little in hopes my state school would give me an early Christmas present.
