GRE GRE for VA/MD

Hi all,
I just received my GRE scores and am sending them out as soon as I can, but I didn't realize that VA/MD did not have a code to accept the GRE because they do not require them.
My question is, does VA/MD not require the GRE at all, as in they do not accept the GRE for all applicants? Or is it more of an optional prerequisite?

They don’t require the gre, so they do not want your score. They will not look at it. So don’t bother trying to send it and waste money. If a school has it as optional, they will say it’s optional, but I don’t know if any school has optional GREs where they’ll still look at them even if not required.
