General Admissions & OTCAS GRE Schedule???

Guys, with a lot of OT schools in Texas, most apps are due October 15th. Only one (TTHSC) is on rolling admissions.

What is the latest date I can take the GRE and make it in time for application? I know that I can get my GRE scores the day I take my test, and send them at the center. How long does it take to get those scores to OTCAS and processed, including the writing portion?

P.S. How did you all prepare for the GRE? I currently work full time and am also taking a pre requisite course, and also moving out this month. Freaking out about how I can possibly do all of this and make it in time to apply.

Any help is appreciated!

The site says that it takes about 10-15 days for your scores to be available online, with that said I would take it at least two weeks before that app deadline!

Do you mean the OTCAS website or ETS? ETS gives your your scores on test day.

You won't get your writing score until 10-14 days later. You will get quant/verbal scores immediately following the test. Also note that it will ask you to send your scores before you see them. Thus, you have to decide whether you will send your scores to schools immediately based on how you felt like you did. You can send scores after they are officially posted on ETS to any school. I am pretty sure it costs extra though. Good luck!

You can do it! I applied in Texas too. I had a full-time job, took prerequisites at night, took the GRE in July/August, and had all of my apps done by September.
