Will schools automatically discard my application if I don't meet their minimum GRE scores or will it be placed on hold if I wrote on PTCAS that I am scheduled to retake it? I've already called some of the schools but they all have different answers. Does anyone have any experience with this?
 
The schools give you different answers because they all have different policies. You should go by what each particular school tells you.
