I just recently took the GRE for the third time. For some reason, this test is a pain for me. I am not great when in comes to tests. My over all score was a 280 and 3.0 on analytical writing, which I know is lower than what most schools want for their admissions. I was wondering if other people were having the same difficulty with this test and how it affects the overall acceptance into a program. PLEASE help!!! I really would like some advice on this, as I am afraid I will not get in because of the GRE when I have other great qualifications.

If you are having trouble, try to find schools that do not require the GRE. Hopefully you can find a few in your area. Most schools that don't require it will have you do a writing sample as part of an interview, so just focus more on that.
