So, yesterday was the "Great Expectations" program at NEOUCOM. Ugh! Can I say 3 and a half hours of boring the crap out of us with financial aid and promotion criteria (for the BSMD students). There were direct entries there, so we (the BSMD students who had been in the prog for 2-3 years with the same people) were all excited to see the fresh new faces. Neoucom put on the impression that there was going to be dinner at the beginning, but it turned out to be some cruddy pizza (BLAH!). The meeting was overall very informative though. We don't have to pay that AMCAS fee (yes!), but we do have to go up for Review this summer. Give and take right! the best part was that we got to try on our white coats. Soooo exciting!
