Hi I am a D3 student, and I want to specialize in ortho or endo. The thing is, I am an international student and am thinking about getting a green card after graduating. I've heard a few cases getting a green card as a general dentist, but haven't really heard about getting a green card as an orthodontist, endodontist, or any other dental specialty.
I want to specialize as soon as possible, and I am not sure if going back to school after working for a few years would be a good idea.
Would it be harder to get a green card as a specialist? Or would it have a better chance as a specialist?
Also, how would the work life balance of a general dentist would be like?
Thank you
